The Lancashire County Cricket League, sponsored by JW Lees Brewery, was formed in 1994 after the demise of the old Lancashire and Cheshire League.
The league has two main divisions for the adult first and second teams and a smaller third division for those clubs with a third team not playing in other outside competitions. The league also has three competitions at junior level for Under 13s, Under 15s and Under 17s.
