About Standel Dawman — Visit Site
The history of Standel Dawman Ltd in its various guises dates back to 1952 when the father of current Non-Executive Directors Alan Stanworth and Dorothy Dawes purchased the factory site upon which the company now utilises over 30,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
The company produced its’ first ever electric golf trolley wheels in 1978, and has never looked back. Of course many Electric Golf Trolley companies have come and gone in that time, but Standel Dawman has always continued its’ work with a focus on the development of the Electric Golf Trolley market.
They are proud to say that they have introduced many of the modern components and design set-ups found in the current electric golf trolley market, and are keen that they will continue a proud tradition of manufacturing quality electric golf trolley components on site at their factory in Lancashire.
Their prolonged period of investment over the last decade has ensured that they are a company with a solid foundation and extensive manufacturing base, incorporating all of the latest CNC and plastic moulding techniques to ensure that they can continue to manufacture in the UK for many years to come.
